Our Forgotten Waterfront Park

CLEAN UP, CLEAN UP, EVERBODY DO YOUR SHARE!!

NICE WATERFRONT PARK!

THIS TREE HAS BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE THE LAST STORM!

While the MTABT has been very responsive to our community and the cleanup of the play ground during the warm months, many of our neighbors feel the Parks Department has been asleep at the wheel with regards to the rest of the park.

THIS RECEPTECLE HAS BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE FRIDAY, TODAY IS SUNDAY.

AS HE SAW US TAKING PICTURES HE STOPED TO ASK IF WE NEEDED A PHONE NUMBER. GREAT CLEANUP!

THIS HOLE HAS BEEN THERE TWO YEARS

Hundreds if not Thousands of Newlyweds come to our park yearly to get their wedding photos taken in Our park. Scores of young families take their children to the park .

Should your children have to play in this park?
Are we not deserving of the same services other communities receive?

You Decide.

THIS PARK IS A DISGRACE, I GO OUT OF MY WAY TO NOT TAKE MY KIDS THERE. I WOULD RATHER TAKE THEM TO THE IMMPECCABLE PARK ON 20TH AVENUE AND COLLEGE POINT BLVD. HECK SOMETIMES I EVEN TAKE MY KIDS TO THE PARKS IN ASTORIA AND OR LIC. NEW PLAYGROUNDS, NO HOLES, TREES GET CLEANED UP ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.

THE PARKS DEPARTMENT TOTALLY IGNORES OUR PARK. THEY SPENT OVER 250,000 TO BUILD BOCCE COURTS AND DIDN'T BUILD A WALKWAY.. THE POOR OLDTMERS NEED TO TREK OVER 3FEET OF WEEDS SOMETIMES , BECAUSE THE PARKS DEPARTMENT DOESN'T EVEN CUT DOWN THE GROWTH ON WAY TO THE COURTS.

I FOR ONE AM SICK AND TIRED OF THEIR NEGLECT. GOOD JOB MALBA GARDENS, WE DESERVE BETTER!

I used to take my kids there till one fell while running on the grass. She fell into a Hole like the one in the picture and got a hairline fracture on her ankle. Great view if you don't look down (otherwise you see the broken bottles, styrofoam blocks, and used condoms) just look up at the Bridge.

This park has become an embarassment, and the Parks department could care less. They rarely clean up. I see residents picking up garbage and breaking up fallen branches.

They used to have a girl there that did a so so job but it was better than what they do there now.

The grass is rarely cut, the branches are never picked up, and it is just an overall mess.

Why? Because it is a residential neighborhood and we have yards. Thus, we are not entitled to the same services they provide areas with multi unit buildings.

We all need to email and call the parks department to demand the services our taxes pay for.
